The uniqueness of the tables comes about during a special production process. The basis of this latest collection of coffee and side tables consists of wooden tops combined with a metal frame and/or legs. A liquid metal coating is first applied to the wooden tabletops. After this has dried completely, a flammable substance is sprayed over it. This substance is then set on fire, thus texturing the underlying metal coating. After a proper drying and curing process, the tops are given a final sanding. This gives the tables a slightly finer appearance. Nevertheless, the tables remain robust and eccentric.
